Developer Reference for Intel® Integrated Performance Primitives Cryptography 2019
This Developer Reference documents Intel® Integrated Performance Primitives (Intel® IPP) Cryptography 2019 update 4 release.
The document has been updated with the following changes to the product:
Marked DES, TDES, PKCSv15, MD5, and ECB functions as deprecated. These algorithms are considered weak due to known attacks on them. The functionality remains in the library, but the implementation will no longer be optimized and no security patches will be applied.
Added the GFpECSetPointOctString and GFpECGetPointOctString functions.
Added new AES-XTS functions.
Added new functions based on the SM2 algorithm. See Functions based on SM2
Additionally, minor updates have been made to fix inaccuracies in the document.
Added new support functions. See Appendix A: Support Functions and Classes.
ARCFour algorithm functions have been deprecated and will be removed in the future IPP releases.
Intel IPP Cryptography library is now available through open source. For details about the open source version, see https://software.intel.com/en-us/forums/intel-integrated-performance-primitives/topic/783205
Additionally, minor updates have been made to fix inaccuracies in the document.
